Sitting in a picturesque location at the heart of Smales Farm Technology Office Park, the impressive Air New Zealand building has 5,500 sqm of quality office space spread over four floors, plus two floors of car parking.

A flexible approach

Flexibility is built into the Air New Zealand Building. Raised floors throughout can quickly provide for the changing needs of tenants' businesses. There are no fixed cables between floor and ceiling, and switchless lights are operated through the building management system. Air New Zealand's multi-award-winning contact centre and holiday booking operation occupies levels 1 and 2, and the company also uses the space for contact centre induction training and a large part of its development training. The building's first floor balcony is used for team meetings and barbeques.

Tenants

Around 300 Air New Zealand staff work at the site servicing New Zealand, Australia, the UK, USA, Canada, and the Asia Pacific region, 24 hours a day.

Other tenants include Beef + Lamb New Zealand, Lion Foundation and Medical Assurance. Beef + Lamb New Zealand is responsible for the domestic promotion of beef and lamb; the Lion Foundation is a charitable trust that owns gaming machines and raises funds for community organisations; and Medical Assurance provides financial support services for health professionals.
