Transport survey reveals free
bike parking not well known

02 February 2010. The Smales Farm Transport Management Association survey completed by Park tenants at the end of 2009 has revealed many tenants still don’t know about the free services Smales Farm provides for ‘green’ commuters to the Park.
Smales Farm provides parking free of charge to all tenants who commute to work on bicycles, scooters and motorbikes.
The survey showed many potential bike riders asking about the availability of bike racks. Every building has its own bike rack. They are in different locations though, so if you can’t find the bike rack for your building, ask within your building or contact the Smales Farm Management team. Some buildings also have lockers and showers, which are available for use by tenants of that building – again at no charge.
Questions about the availability of scooter and motorbike parking were also common. There are three dedicated parking areas within the park set aside for the exclusive use of scooters and motorbikes – and they are all free of charge. One is located in the Q4 car park, a second near BodyTech Gym behind the Sovereign Building and a third in front of the Air NZ building
